Based in Swansea University, Wales, research in the Gill Group is at the interface of chemistry and biology. Our ambition is to isolate molecules that provide new insight into the function of biomolecules and cells. We are particularly interested in the cell biology of coordination and organometallic compounds as their unusual molecular geometries and useful luminescent properties present exciting opportunities in chemical biology, medicinal chemistry and drug discovery.
